  The Newsletter Committee is responsible for publishing and distributing the community newsletter.

2005 VIRGINIA NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE YEAR!

Elizabeth Lake Estates was awarded Virginia State Neighborhood of the Year for 2005 at the Virginia Statewide Neighborhood Conference in Norfolk on September 24th. 

Additionally, the Hampton Neighborhood Commission passed a resolution on October 10th recognizing the Elizabeth Lake Estates Civic Association for their successes and commitment to the neighborhood, district and city.  Community service and volunteerism earned Elizabeth Lake Estates the distinction, with a variety of volunteer activities highlighted, reflecting the diverse talents and interests of the residents.  Neighbors working along side one another is a powerful tool in creating a community spirit of caring.  Congratulations to all those volunteers and good Samaritans who make Elizabeth Lake Estates a great place to live.
